WhatsApp Messenger from WhatsApp Inc. maintained a consistent weekly revenue of around $3, with slight increases to $4 in the last two weeks of December. Weekly downloads peaked at 2.1M in the first week of October and experienced a notable dip to approximately 960K at the end of November, before rising again to 1.3M in the final week of December. Active users showed a steady increase from 121.5M to 123.7M over the quarter.
Telegram Messenger, developed by Telegram FZ-LLC, saw its weekly revenue increase from around $2.5K to nearly $4.7K by the end of December. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 1.3M in the last week of December, up from a low of 565K in November. Active users rose slightly from 23.8M to 24.7M, showing a gradual increase throughout the quarter.
